An Inland Lighthouse for the Lost

When sitting in your car
    on a dark moonless night
    in what might be Goshen 
    or Ashfield or Cummington,
Your headlights staring
    at three llamas who are
    staring at your headlights
Which way do you go?
Only two options,
    uphill or downhill.
If there was only a lighthouse to show the way
     to Amherst, or Pittsfield, or Boston,
     or just home.
